BRAVO ZULU HOUSE ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER

(We’re declaring war on PTSD)

Martin County, Minnesota, June 4, 2024 – Bravo Zulu House board of directors announced the appointment of General Joseph L. Votel to the Board of Directors. The addition of General Votel brings the Board’s membership to 8.

General Votel, a retired four-star general in the United States Army, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Bravo Zulu House. Throughout his distinguished career, General Votel served in numerous leadership positions, including Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). His commitment to service and dedication to veterans makes him an invaluable addition to the Bravo Zulu House Board.

“Ultimately, the success of Bravo Zulu House will pivot on the support and leadership of Veterans. I have learned that only Veterans really understand the challenges each other has faced, and are in the best position to lead and help. General Votel’s background brings increased credibility and strategic leadership to our small (yet mighty) organization,” said Bravo Zulu House Executive Director Tim Murray.

“I'm happy to help and assist Bravo Zulu House in its noble mission.  The scourge of addiction is something we are all too familiar with - and the Veteran community is particularly vulnerable. I look forward to continuing to be a strong advocate for Veteran mental health and addiction recovery through Bravo Zulu House - it is a topic that I am very passionate about.” said General Votel.
