BRAVO ZULU HOUSE ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER

(We’re declaring war on PTSD)

Martin County, Minnesota, March 7, 2024 – Bravo Zulu House, America’s first and only all-military sober home helping Veterans with PTSD, announces the appointment of Jeff Cowan, bring the total number of Bravo Zulu House Board Members to seven.

Jeff has been living an actively sober life since 1998. He and his wife Cheryl are active philanthropists in the recovery community nationally. Jeff has 30+ years of financial services, venture investing including co-founding a financial services company in 1996, growing the company until acquired by Hitachi in 2016, and co-founding/leading an A.I. Healthcare firm which sold in its 3rd year of operations for over $100 million.

“Jeff is exactly the right leader at the right time for Bravo Zulu House. His experience and empathy for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and high growth potential companies is invaluable to us as we navigate and balance the tremendous need to help our Veterans heal, and the many other worthy causes as we compete for donors share-of-wallet” said Tim Murray, Executive Director of Bravo Zulu House. Murray continued, “The most impressive thing to me about Jeff, is that in the 20+ years I have known him, not ONCE has he referred to his own success, but rather has been 100% focused on how he can help me (or others). That rare combination of humility and competence makes him ideally skilled to provide wisdom, guidance, and solutions for Bravo Zulu House.”

Bravo Zulu House, scheduled to open late 2024, will be home to 14 Veterans coming out of treatment for substance abuse with co-occurring issues of PTSD. Murray states “The VA confirms that most PTSD sufferers abuse drugs and alcohol, so we created Bravo Zulu House in Martin County, Southern Minnesota. This is a huge problem, a massive opportunity, and one that needs to be a Veteran led-Veteran driven organization which is why we are building our organization with Veteran and savvy business leaders everywhere we can.”
